I wanted to collaborate with another fashion blogger since ALWAYS, and right now it’s finally time to tell you that it’s finally time! (jk)
🌹So, I basically had the idea a few years ago to create a thrift challenge with someone else who loves vintage fashion. The challenge is that you pick something at your local second hand shop for the other blogger and the other blogger does the same. You both don’t tell each other what you got them and simply send it to them. Right now you have to create a full outfit featuring your new (maybe even unwanted) piece. Sounds simple, huh? 🌹
I have to admit that the most challenging part was actually not creating the outfit itself, but to find a nice piece for my blogger of choice.
When I started talking to Birgit, I instantly know that it would be fun to do the challenge with her, especially since she has a vintage store on her own that is called „Onimos„. So, the two thrift lovers teamed up and we both actually sent each other two pieces (which made it even easier to create an outfit though!). Birgit sent me this vintage skirt from Onimos and I fell in love with it the moment I unpacked it. So, this is actually my finished outfit – featuring vintage glasses, a vintage sweater, a vintage belt and my Docs. So- basically it’s almost completely vintage! Do you like it? :-)
